Version Control
There needs to be away of importing a new version of a document and to be able to write comments for each version to be able to track changes to the document. You also need to be able to pull up and open past versions. Version control is one of the most important features of a document management software. I would definitely buy this software if it had some form of version control.
Version Control is now implemented and will be available in version 4.6 and above of eDoc Organizer Business and Enterprise Editions. More details will be made available on our website and blog soon.

For me, as a Joe Blow home user, just scanning bank statements, receipts and other general correspondence this wouldn't be very helpful, in fact, Iwouldn't use it. But, for professional document generators, authors etc then yes. But you can sort of acheive this 'as is' if you label documents with a label 'Version 1', 'Version 2' etc but you'd have to come up with some way of diffing them yourself. Versioning is not a trvial venture ... but useful for expanding the product market.
Just my opinion.
