Provide the ability to move document repository to the Amazon Cloud
Or offer an API where different document repository providers could be plugged in giving the ability to store the documents on different mediums.
eDoc Organizer Cloud Service is now officially available to all users. Please visit http://www.edocorganizer.com/cloud-edition for additional details.
Thank you for all your comments and feedback on this suggestion. Most comments reflected the desire to want to continue using existing cloud storage solutions to store eDoc Organizer data. But to provide a first class user experience with full organizational and search capabilities, we felt that our own cloud solution was needed.

I switched from Paperport to eDoc which I found to be a better program. Ecept with paperport i could backup to Dropbox and be able to view or print any documents that i needed. In order to do this with eDoc i export all the eDoc files to a folder on Dropbox which alows me to view the pdf files from anywhere.

I respect your desire to find new services and products to sell to clients. However, in this case, I do not want a multitude of cloud providers. I already made that choice, and would prefer to keep my files on a single provider for simplicity.

Many people use Dropbox and similar cloud services, why reinvent the wheel and create yet another "cloud" service? I would rather keep all my files in a single cloud location. It just makes live simpler.

The ability to use any cloud storage/backup service would be preferable as many people already have services in place.

This would be a great feature ! That way if my computer crashes, I would not lose my documents !
