Ability to store eDoc Organizer data on a network share
Change eDoc Organizer database technology so that the data can be stored on a network share.
NOTE: This will not make eDoc Organizer usable by multiple users at the same time.
Currently eDoc Organizer database cannot be stored on a network share. This is a limitation of the database technology used to store information in eDoc Organizer. Unfortunately the alternative database technologies we investigated did not meet the performance needs of eDoc Organizer. At this point we plan to address this feature request with a different product, eDoc Organizer Network Edition. eDoc Organizer Network Edition is based on a Server-Client model and is currently under development. We expect to start beta testing it by the end of the month.

It is rather disheartening that this product cannot be used with network attached storage. I would believe that modern pc users would like to use technologies like Mirroring or RAID5 to safeguard the information collected by your program. Modern PCs may have the space to store large amounts of documents, however they usually not designed to deal with catastrophic failures of their single disks.
Also thinking that you can correct this issue by using a client server technology is rather naïve. This would be useless to people that use NAS servers to house their data since most are not windows based, and the ones that are, are being discontinued my Microsoft. In effect you are requiring that the user purchase an additional server to patch the inadequacies of your product. And even then most likely that server will not have the safeguards available to it that a simple mirrored NAS device would have.
I hope in the future that you realize your folly and open up your product to users that work with network attached storage.
